These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the analytics and reporting services provided by Qinected (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all service plans, subscriptions, and contracted work provided by Qinected.

2. Services Provided

Qinected provides:

  • Automated Power BI dashboard reporting
     
  • Custom data models and templates
     
  • Microsoft Fabric hosting and refresh automation
     
  • Ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support
     
  • AI-assisted insights and report enhancements
     

The specific features included in your plan will be outlined in your proposal or invoice.

We reserve the right to update or improve the service at any time.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely data
     
  • Upload data only using the templates provided
     
  • Maintain correct user access and security on your accounts
     
  • Use the dashboards for internal business purposes only
     
  • Not copy, resell, or distribute Qinected intellectual property
     

You are solely responsible for the quality and integrity of the data you upload.

4. Data Ownership & Processing

All data you upload remains your property.

Qinected acts as a data processor and will:

  • Process your data only to deliver the service
     
  • Never share, sell, or repurpose your data
     
  • Access your data only when necessary for support
     
  • Delete your data upon request or termination
     

We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

5. Fees & Payments

5.1 Setup Fee

A one-off setup fee is required to build your reporting environment.
This fee covers modelling, automation, dashboard creation, configuration, and deployment.
Once work has started, setup fees are non-refundable.

5.2 Monthly Subscription

Your subscription fee covers:

  • Hosting and capacity usage
     
  • Dashboard automation
     
  • System monitoring
     
  • Support and maintenance
     
  • Minor dashboard adjustments
     

Monthly fees are billed in advance.

5.3 Additional Work

Changes outside the agreed scope—such as new KPIs, new dashboards, or structural model changes—will be billed separately.

5.4 Late Payment

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if invoices remain unpaid.
You remain liable for all charges during any suspension period.

6. Minimum Term, Cancellation & Renewal

6.1 12-Month Minimum Term

All subscriptions have a minimum 12-month commitment beginning on the service activation date.

6.2 Early Cancellation (During Initial 12 Months)

If you cancel before completing the 12-month term, you must pay:

50% of the remaining subscription fees

covering the months left in your contract.

Example:
If your monthly fee is £1,000 and 6 months remain →
Early termination fee = £3,000.

6.3 Auto-Renewal

At the end of each 12-month term, your subscription will automatically renew for another 12 months.

6.4 Price Changes at Renewal

We may adjust pricing at renewal.
You will be informed of any changes before your renewal date.

6.5 Cancelling a Renewal

To prevent auto-renewal, you must provide written notice:

At least 30 days before the renewal date

If notice is received after this window, the renewal will proceed, and the new 12-month term becomes binding.

7. Refund Policy

  • Setup fees are non-refundable
     
  • Monthly subscription fees already paid are non-refundable
     
  • No refunds or credits are issued for unused service time
     
  • Refunds are only considered in cases of billing error or service failure caused by Qinected
     

8. Service Availability

We aim to deliver a reliable service but cannot guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access
     
  • Zero downtime
     
  • Error-free performance
     

Downtime may result from Microsoft Power BI/Fabric outages or required maintenance.
We will always work to restore service as quickly as possible.

9. Intellectual Property

All templates, models, dashboards, scripts, configurations, and analytics structures created by Qinected remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing.

You receive a non-exclusive licence to use them internally only.

You may not:

  • Copy
     
  • Resell
     
  • Redistribute
     
  • Modify for external use
     

without written permission.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all business, financial, and technical information confidential.
This obligation continues after the termination of services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Qinected is not liable for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete data provided by you
     
  • Qinected is not responsible for business decisions made using dashboard outputs
     
  • Qinected will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses
     

Our total liability will not exceed the fees paid by you in the previous 12 months.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access if:

  • Invoices remain unpaid
     
  • You breach these Terms
     
  • Your data poses security or operational risk
     

Upon termination:

  • All outstanding fees become immediately due
     
  • Dashboards and access will be disabled
     
  • You may request data deletion at any time
